Suzanne Bird 2019 JRA

Suzanne C. Bird, AIA, LEED AP BD + C, Associate Principal

Suzanne Bird was born in Newnan, Georgia. Growing up, she was fascinated by building design and details, and she now enjoys the problem solving aspects of architecture as well, piecing together a puzzle to create something beautiful in many church and school projects. She attended Georgia Institute of Technology (2002) for her undergraduate degree and received her Master of Architecture from Rice University (2006). During these years, Suzanne studied in both Paris and Italy. This passion for travel has never left her; she now enjoys taking trips with her husband, Cameron, another architect at Jackson & Ryan Architects, and their three children. When not traveling, she leads a Girl Scouts troop and is highly involved in their church. Suzanne joined Jackson & Ryan Architects in 2006 and was named an Associate Principal in 2016. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is a LEED Accredited Professional. Clients appreciate her creativity, clear thinking and grasp of the details of projects as well as her deep understanding of the whole design concept.
